This hands-on, 8-week online course immerses you in the world of Production Design, where you’ll learn how to craft environments that speak volumes about the characters who inhabit them. From the ground up, you’ll explore the essentials of set design, set decoration, and prop styling. You’ll create miniature models, floor plans, and curated design boards that can transform written scripts into layered, visual worlds that reflect a character’s personality, history, and emotional state.

You will sharpen your eye for visual storytelling through colours, textures and materials with intention. Costumes, wallpaper, clutter, and even empty space all become tools in your visual arsenal, bringing layers of  your character out for the world to see. You will use production design to show audiences how characters think, without them needing to say a single word
